Micrografia

Aunque normalmente este término se usa para referirse a la descripción de objetos vistos con el microscopio (DRAE), en Los Angeles Pop Art han redefinido un poco el concepto con su dibujos. Sus diseños gráficos están construidos mediante textos de un tamaño tan pequeño, cómo para que en este símbolo de la paz, quepa esa misma palabra en 77 idiomas. A esa técnica la han denominado Micrografía.


Sin embargo no es este uno de sus trabajos más meritorios. Esta otra imagen de Marlon Brando (izquierda) en la película El Padrino (The GodFather), está formada por las palabras correspondientes al guión de la película. Mi paciencia y mis conocimientos de inglés no llegan para comprobar si está el guión completo, pero quizás alguien se atreva. Por lo menos, seguro que están el principio y el final del libreto.

También es buena la colección de posters de Bob Marley, en la que las imágenes del rey del reggae están formadas por las letras de sus discos más conocidos.
